Shereen Newman

Owner and Instructor of Bliss Pilates, Shereen aims to bring passion, awareness and joy to any class. This is combined with an understanding of both Pilates and many other disciplines such as Yoga, Barre, HIIT, resistance training and mindfulness meditation. Shereen’s classes are innovative and creative, flowing and fusing between disciplines and her own movement sequences. Whatever your level Shereen aims to motivate you and by giving you her fullest attention she encourages you to get the best out of yourself, all done with compassion, respect and understanding. Her aim is for you to leave feeling rejuvenated,strengthened,invigorated and restored.

I started at Bliss Pilates with Shereen three years ago. Stiff from desk-bound office work and unable to do most exercises without feeling embarased at how inflexible and generally unfit i was. Shereen is amazing! She was patient, reassuring and fun. She made me feel at ease, made me forget my physical limitations and with time get rid of them altogether. I always look forward to my Pilates sessions and i do experience a true bliss once the final clap of the Seal is done and i leave the studio buzzing! Love you Shereen!

The classes are small, never more then four clients at a time, so you always get 1:1 attention. Shereen is always adding new routines, stretches, etc which adds variety so it never gets boring. It truly is a class I look forward to. I’d highly recommend.

Amazing classes as never more than 4 people so you get really personal attention and there is no risk of getting into bad habits. Really flexible scheduling and relaxed atmosphere and very good price compared to other classes in this area. Very bright and airy studio facing onto the garden so very relaxing.

Shereen is extremely knowledgeable and delightful. She has a variety of classes although I have only tried her mat Pilates class which I am a big fan of. Full body workout and stretch, but gently. SmallClasses too. Highly recommend!
